Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest is an ARPG (Action Role Playing Game) that plays a lot like Diablo 2. A more accurate comparison may be Baldur's Gate 2: Dark Alliance which is also for Ps2, these games were made on the same engine so they are similar in many ways.

This game is vaguely set in the world of Everquest; it has a few maps that are named after zones in EQ and a few NPCs from Everquest but that's it. A few of the playable races and classes are from EQ too but they're also mostly generic fantasy classes. In my opinion this is a decent overall game, it's your generic hack and slash fantasy adventure -- but shares very little in common with EQ.
