Blackburrow Headshot Guide
Blackburrow is the very first zone you get to Headshot that is actually good after the long drought of no good Headshot locations for almost a whole ten levels! Blackburrow is a huge zone with a lot of mobs to Headshot. Some of them, like the elites downstairs and the undead reavers are not able to be headshot but that won't even be an issue for you since the last few locations for Headshot were just horrible. Consider Blackburrow a transitional zone. At level 90 you get some of the best Headshot locations since PoFire but for now, we've got this.
You will be able to blow through 89 in Blackburrow very quickly and I strongly recommend you take this route. Grab enough AAs for Headshot before leveling to 90 (you will need 15) and then level to 90. Once you are 90 you will be able to do Old Commonlands which is one of the best locations for Headshot you can find. However, before we get there let's take a really close look at Blackburrow.
Above is a map of the first floor of Blackburrow. There is a huge underground area that you can explore as well but taking a picture of the full map would just be a jumble of lines. As aforementioned almost all gnolls in Blackburrow can be Headshot. The only exception to this rule are the undead Gnoll Reavers which spawn in specific places all around the zone. These can be avoided or you can just pop your merc to take one out.
You may also want to avoid the named gnolls here too. They summon and can't be Headshot which means there is a really good chance they will completely destroy you. Your goal in Blackburrow is to level as quickly as possible to 90 so you can leave this zone and move onto Field of Scale. If you bring potions (Ceremonial Elixir of Scholorship) you will be able to get through Blackburrow in a few hours and move onto FoS.
Before leaving Blackburrow at 90 be sure you get the AAs required for the next rank of Headshot that way once you get to Field of Scale you can just jump right into the Headshotting fun.
