Nagafen's Lair Leveling Guide

***Notice*** Everyone reading this guide in 2018 or later should note that this guide was written in 2009 or so when Underfoot was the current expansion pack. As you can imagine a lot has changed in the game since that time and some of what you read in this guide may be inaccurate or misleading. This page *does* still have some useful info which is why my newer leveling guides link here - but you should understand that most of the information here is outdated, I've taken what's correct and incorporated it into my newer leveling guides.

This is one of the funnest zones you can level in, in my opinion. You're going to be fighting Kobolds and pretty much only Kobolds for the next 10 levels. The good news is these guys drop amazing loot for their levels, the loot includes Fine Steel Weapons, Bronze Gear and on average 2-5pp per kill. I'd also like to add they hit like pansies!! The only thing you have to worry about is the Kobolds running from you and picking up a bunch of their friends.

At around level 43 you can start to kill the Bats and Spiders that are also in this zone, they may be a challenge for you, but they give better xp then the kobolds.

Once you reach level 45, It's time to leave this place and head for Dulak's Harbor. The fastest way to get to Dulak's Harbor is from the Gunthak portal in PoK. You'll arrive in Gunthak's Harbor. Invis yourself and get ready for a long run to Dulak's Harbor.
