Tetris Game Genie Codes (Japan)

This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Tetris (Japan), a game for the Game Boy handheld console. If you are playing on a physical Game Boy/GBC then you'll need to purchase a physical Game Genie device to use the codes that you find on this page.

For those of you who are using an Emulator, you can normally input codes by going to the Cheats menu. Depending on the Emulator you use the process will be different, head over to my RetroArch, VisualBoy Advance (Depreciated), VisualBoy Advance-M, mGBA or Sameboy guides to learn how to use these codes with the Emulator of your choice.

Turn off to get a different tetris piece; turn on again when you want to keep your piece

Drop Pieces To Clear Line: 001-B9D-3B5
Drop the piece on the left hand side of the board

Keep Current and Next Pieces and Stack Displayed While Paused: 18C-89E-4CA

Music Modifier: ??A-549-915
Turn off to play selected song

Press Down To Descend Tetriminos: 001-09D-19E

Replace Level-up Jingle With Unused Level-up Jingle: 084-F5D-E62

Replaces Various Songs With Other Songs: 1B5-1AE-B36
A-Type replaced with High Score Theme
B-Type replaced with Game B Clear
C-Type replaced with Title Music
OFF replaced with Game Over Music

Another Replaces Various Songs With Other Songs: 0E5-7EE-B36
A-type replaced with Russian Dance Song
B-Type replaced with Russian Dance 2
