Metroid 2: The Return Samus - Enemy Game Genie Codes (USA)

This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Metroid 2: The Return Samus (USA), a game for the Game Boy handheld console. If you are playing on a physical Game Boy/GBC then you'll need to purchase a physical Game Genie device to use the codes that you find on this page.

For those of you who are using an Emulator, you can normally input codes by going to the Cheats menu. Depending on the Emulator you use the process will be different, head over to my RetroArch, VisualBoy Advance (Depreciated), VisualBoy Advance-M, mGBA or Sameboy guides to learn how to use these codes with the Emulator of your choice.

Enemies Are Invincible (Except for Metroids): AA2-4AB
Turn on after selecting save file. Will auto select a save file if you turn it on at the Title Screen.

Enemies Are Invisible: AAA-9CA
They can still hurt you but don't drop any missiles or energy

Enemies Frozen In Place and Invincible: AA0-ABB
Turn the code off to defeat Metroids

Enemies Look Frozen, Backwards, And/Or Upside Down: AAA-A7A
Doesn't actually freeze enemies, just uses the animation.

Enemies Use The Wrong Graphics: AAA-A6A

Small Enemy & Item Graphics: AAA-97A
Missile Doors will be invisible. Enemies and Powerups only use a small section of their graphic
