R-Type DX Gameshark Codes (USA, Europe)

This page contains all of the Gameshark codes I have for R-Type DX (USA, Europe), a game for the Game Boy Color handheld console. If you are playing on a physical Game Boy/GBC then you'll need to purchase a physical Gameshark device to use the codes that you find on this page.

For those of you who are using an Emulator, you can normally input codes by going to the Cheats menu. Depending on the Emulator you use the process will be different, head over to my RetroArch, VisualBoy Advance (Depreciated), VisualBoy Advance-M, mGBA or Sameboy guides to learn how to use these codes with the Emulator of your choice.

Enemys Blow Up Automatically: 01042ED1

R-Type I-Invincible: 910112D1

R-Type II-Invincible: 91011ED5

Change Enemy Sprite: 01??2ED1
This will change the enemies sprite. Use 04 to blow up enemies instantly.

Instantly Defeat All Enemies: 01042ED1

(R-Type 1 Classic) Unlimited Lives: 9104EDD0

(R-Type 1 Color) Unlimited Lives: 9104E0D0
Don't leave this on when playing R-Type 1 Classic or the game will glitch

(R-Type 2 Classic) Unlimited Lives: 910580D1
