V Rising Walkthrough

V Rising is a survival crafting game developed by Stunlock Studios and released in 2022 for Early Access. V Rising is an action adventure style game with fast paced combat mixed with the survival/crafting/base building elements that people love from other games.

The game's 1.0 version was released in full during 2025 and then there was another 1.1 patch which added a new zone (Oakveil) that was released in 2025. As of writing this today 6/13/26, the devs have said the game "feels complete" and there is unlikely to be any new content updates. So, as of writing this guide, the full game is out and there's unlikely to ever be more content added.

V Rising Base Locations

As usual in a game where you can make bases, there's always going to be some locations which are simply better than others. This guide goes over all of the good locations I found to make a base and why I decided to pick that location. I have at least one base location per zone.
