Card Mods & Item Refinements (Galbadia Garden Disc 1) - FF8 Guide
Reaching Galbadia Garden adds a whole new set of possible Refinements that we can do. If you feel like playing Triple Triad long enough to get Level 6 Boss Cards then you'll be able to do a few powerful refinments. The girl in the hallway across from the hockey rink is who plays Level 6 Boss Cards in Galbadia Garden.
Additionally now that Irvine is part of your party you'll be able to make use of the Ammo-RF Ability. He uses Ammo for his special Limit Break abilities and you won't need that much of it at all, especially if you don't plan to use him very much.
Note: Don't just turn every item you have into Magic, you'll fill up on spells too quickly and you'll end up having to delete some. For more information on which Junctions are the best I recommend you check out my Final Fantasy 8 Junctions Guide.

(T Mag-RF) Windmill: 20 Tornado Magic (Farm these near Galbadia Garden for some of the best Junction magic at this level)
