Where to Solo in DSH
***Notice*** Everyone reading this guide in 2018 or later should note that this guide was written in 2009 or so when Underfoot was the current expansion pack. As you can imagine a lot has changed in the game since that time and some of what you read in this guide may be inaccurate or misleading. This page *does* still have some useful info which is why my newer leveling guides link here - but you should understand that most of the information here is outdated, I've taken what's correct and incorporated it into my newer leveling guides.
If you're here from one of my older links then head over to my new Everquest Leveling Guides Index page as you'll find guides for each expansion for you to choose from. I strongly urge you to use these newer leveling guides instead.
So you're unable to find a group, or would just rather some piece and quiet solo time? Then I know just the place for you! Southeast of the farm you can find a Rib-cage with a bunch of doombugs around it. These are the same exact doombugs used for the tasks at the farm which means you will be able to complete the farm doombug task while soloing here! Below is a picture of my map showing you where it is in comparison to the farm.
At the Rib-cage you'll find a ton of Doombugs, the same ones that are at the farm. You'll be able to do your Doombug task while killing these, which is why it's an almost perfect alternative to being in a Farm group. Also at the ribcage you will have a chance to get Dungore as a spawn, the named Doombug that I mentioned earlier. If you skipped over what I said earlier, Dungore has a chance to drop a Polished Caracite which is an extremely useful aug that has 25 AC, the most important attribute for tanks and classes that take a lot of hits while soloing.
You'll probably alternate between these two areas on your way to level 75, since you won't always be able to find a group.

Nanzie's Handkerchief
- Destroy this when you find it. Unless you're doing the quest its involved for it is useless.
