Chicobo Card - FF8 Guide

It's mislabeled Chocobo Card.

The Chicobo Card can first be acquired on Disc 2 after completing the Chocobo Forest Side Quest. You can do this any time after the Balamb Garden becomes mobile. If you're having a hard time finding the Chocobo Sanctuary I recommend using my video on how to reach Chocobo Sanctuary.

In addition to the normal method, you can also receive the Chicobo Card by playing members of the CC Group on Disc 4. However at this point it'll be too late to complete the Queen of Cards Side Quest, making the main thing this card is used for - obsolete.

Card Moding the Chicobo Card will get you 100 Gysahl Greens which are practically useless and I highly recommend you do not do this. What you'll want to use the Chicobo Card for is the Queen of Cards Side Quest. Losing this card to her will allow her father to make the Chubby Chocobo Card and better yet allow you to progress the quest.

If you're on Disc 4 and won this from a member of the Card Club Group - just Card Mod it to get rid of it. You can only hold one at a time and the card isn't really worth using in your playing hand.
