Final Fantasy VII - Character Modifier Codebreaker Codes (NTSC-J)

This page contains CodeBreaker cheat codes for Final Fantasy VII (NTSC-J) for the Playstation 1. Depending on if you're playing this game on a physical console or an emulator will determine how you use the codes found on this page. People using a physical console will need to purchase a physical CodeBreaker device to use the codes.

Anyone who is using an Emulator will have a much easier time getting these codes to work (assuming your Emulator supports them). Note: To get this code to work you have to have the third slot in your menu empty (only have two characters). Turn the code off once you have the character you want. Note that the Vincent Valentine code (7) won't always work. Also, codes B, C, and D will give you character portraits, but these aren't real (playable) characters. The game will crash if you use any character you're not supposed to have (Aerith, Young Cloud, or Sephiroth) and you enter a conversation or the like. BTW, Sephiroth is still controlled by the computer, but you can take his Materia and he will still be able to cast spells!
