Pokemon Fire Red Wild Modifier Codes: Names that begin with 'P' (USA)

This page contains Wild Pokemon Modifier Gameshark cheat codes for Pokemon Fire Red (USA). If you're playing on an emulator you can usually input codes very easily by accessing a tab off the top of the toolbar. Anyone playing on a physical Gameboy will need to purchase a physical Gameshark device to use these codes.

If you're using an emulator and still can't figure out how to setup these codes, you're in luck! There's two common emulators for GBA games, the mGBA and VisualBoy Advance. Follow the link provided for the emulator you're using to be taken to a guide explaining how to get these codes working.

The codes on this page will change the type of Wild Pokemon you encounter out in the field while leaving the Pokemon's stats/level/attributes the same as the Pokemon your encounter. I've personally tested many of these codes and can confirm that they work. However, I have a simple cavaet to that... If you're using a version of Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green that is a fan edit/hack then these codes will not work. To learn more about hacked ROMs and how to identify them follow the link provided.

After using the codes on this page and deleting them/turn them off, the wild pokemon you encounter out on the field will still be altered. To fix this, save (regularly or with a save state) and then close out your emulator/turn off your game. When you load it back up, everything will be back to normal.
