Acrylia Caverns - Post Mercenary Leveling Guide

There are two main parts to Acrylia Caverns - you have the castle which is the highest level part of the zone and outside of the castle. On the map above outside the castle is marked with the blue box, 45 - 55. Inside the castle is marked with the large red box, 55 - 63.

The outside area of Acrylia has a mixture of grimling enemies as well as some skeletons and chiknar. The zone is fairly easy up until you reach the 'city' like area with destroyed buildings and the mixture of undead enemies, chiknar and grimlings. On the map above can be found just above the southern most room with the red rectangular box.

In the city area you should expect many adds unless you're careful with navigating it. Same for the room that's just a little bit more to the south. If you're unfamiliar with how to reach the Castle in Acrylia Caverns - in the southern most room that I mentioned above with the red rectangular box; just to the left of this room on the map is another room.

Inside that room is a statue which when you click on it will teleport you to the castle. If you're having trouble finding this statue use my pictures below for a bit of guidance. One is of the statue itself so you know what to click on and the other shows the map location.

Once inside the castle there are about 6 to 8 different rooms for you to hunt in. As long as you avoid the second floor and the jail cells in the basement everything should be rather easy for you here. The two areas just mentioned can get you some larger pulls of 4+ mobs each. Depending on your level your tank merc can likely handle the pull but if you're unsure avoiding those areas will be better safe than sorry.

Acrylia Caverns EXP will remain good until level 63 at which point it'll start to slow down a bit. You can push the zone to level 65 but I wouldn't recommend you go much higher level than that in this zone. There's better EXP elsewhere.

Additional Information

- The only way to reach Acrylia Caverns is by traveling through Grimling Forest, which is a zone both Wizards and Druids can port to. If you can't get a port you'll have to go the really long way here from Shar Vahl.

- Khati Sha the Twisted is a raid encounter that takes place in this zone.

- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.
