The next mission, Regret, picks up immediately where Delta Halo left off. Our first objective for this mission is to clear our way over to the gondola on a nearby tower. You will have to go from building to building fighting the various Covenant along the way all while following the linear path.
I strongly recommend you grab a Beam Rifle as early as possible and use that weapon to pick off as many enemies as you can from a distance. When you reach the final arena before the gondola kill all of the Covenant to make a Phantom come and drop off two Hunters. Kill both of the Hunters and then wait for the gondola to arrive (pictured below).
You can snipe enemies on the gondola as it comes across the water towards you. I strongly recommend you bring two long range weapons with you because almost all of the upcoming fighting will be at a distance. Another gondola will stop alongside yours in the middle of the lake - kill all of the enemies when this happens to make your gondola move again.
As your gondola approaches the large building on the other side of the lake make sure you take out as many enemies as you can so that you have less to deal with when you get there. Inside the building you will need to clear all of the Covenant enemies to make an elevator come up from the ocean below. Kill all of the enemies on the elevator then board it and ride it to another facility.
The next facility consists of a few hallways and one big battle arena where you'll be fighting a couple dozen enemies and two Hunters. Once the Hunters are dead go through the door on the bottom level of this room and through another hallway to reach yet another elevator. This elevator will take you to an area that leads back outside with another gondola.
Between you and the gondola will be a couple dozen Covenant for you to deal with; your battle arena this time is going to be a bunch of ruins. Just before the gondola there will be a bunch of UNSC weapon drops too so I recommend you stock up with some weapons and ammo. While riding the gondola to the next facility you'll have to deal with Banshees and jetpack Elites.
One piece of advice I can give you is to try and lure at least one of the jetpack Elites into your gondola so when it dies you can take the weapon. It's easy to run out of ammo if you keep shooting at the Banshees and you don't efficiently use your bullets. When you arrive at the facility on the other side of the lake you will trigger a cutscene.
Board Regret and melee him to defeat him
All that's left of this mission now is to go inside of the building and kill the Prophet Regret. Regret hovers around a large room in a tea cup saucer looking thing - it's the same vehicle you've seen in all the cinematics. In order to kill Regret you will need to approach him and board him like a vehicle. Once you've boarded Regret hit the melee button repeatedly to kill him - after he dies you'll be thrown off of him and it'll take a few seconds for the cutscene to kick in.
Do not die! While you're waiting for the cutscene it's possible to die then have to do the entire boss fight over again. Another thing I should mention is the enemies in Regret's room have unlimited respawns. You can never thin them out enough to where it's just you and Regret. At most you can buy yourself a dozen seconds when you kill one of the Covenant before another shows up.
