Valheim is an open world sandbox survival crafting game that is often described as Minecraft with Vikings. This game was first released into Early Access on Steam in 2021 and as of publishing this guide in December of 2025, I have over 4000 hours in the game. Writing a guide for an open world survival game was pretty challenging, but I feel that I have covered basically everything you need to know about this amazing game.
