Rogue Galaxy Quarry: The Wayward Phantasm
The closest save to warp to is the Ancient Ruins - Entrance. From where you teleport in at you'll want to head into the ruins and past the shop. Where you see me standing at on the map is in the center of a little pit. In here is where you'll find the circle to summon this quarry. By the time you can actually summon him, the entire fight will be trivial. In fact, it is so easy Kisala and Lilika are killing him as I am typing this and my Jaster is just standing there.
The item required to summon this boss is a Crystal Staff. You won't get Crystal Staff until way later in the game, chapter 11 or 12. I think they give this quarry to you so early specifically to piss you off trying to figure out what item it requires.
If you are missing the item required to summon this boss grind some battles and cross your fingers or go treasure chest hunting on a planet you've 100% the map on. In Rogue Galaxy once you pass a certain chapter the loot table of items that can drop for you ingame is updated.
What I mean is, every item has a chance of dropping off every creature after you've passed that chapter that allows that item to drop. At least this is how it works in my experience. Therefore, if you're missing any items to summon any of the quarry bosses all you need to do is grind a little until you get that item to drop for you. Good luck!
