Super Mario Bros 3 - Jump / Flying / Walking Game Genie Codes (USA)
This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Super Mario Bros 3 (USA), a game for the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). If you're playing with an emulator you'll typically be able to put these codes into the program directly through a built in option. Any of you who are old school and playing on a physical console, you'll have to purchase a physical Game Genie cheat device to use these codes.

Free Movement While Not Pressing 'B'
Hold 'B' in order for the game to function normally, release 'B' to move around freely. You need to hold 'B' in order to make the stage and make the game progress at certain points.

Walk Through Walls And Jump Through Ceilings (Anywhere)
The code works by disabling slope level physics when hitting a wall or a ceiling, while having a walk through walls and jump through ceiling code on.
Slope physics are re-enabled when walking off a block or when moving upwards without hitting a block.

Up to fly, Down to stand on ground (even when in air), Up + A to fly faster and Down + A to go through the ground while going down.
If you remove the last code you'll get a hybrid between flying and frog-swimming which will also let you pass through walls left and right.
