Super Mario Bros 2 (Version 1.1) - Level / Landscape Game Genie Codes (USA)

This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Super Mario Bros 2 (USA), a game for the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). If you're playing with an emulator you'll typically be able to put these codes into the program directly through a built in option. Any of you who are old school and playing on a physical console, you'll have to purchase a physical Game Genie cheat device to use these codes.

Dig Up Mushroom Blocks Anywhere (improved)
You can also drop blocks in front of any background structure. The block will embed into the background elements above you which in turn creates new platforms.
You can lower the platforms if you duck while throwing the block. Also, any block you dig up will retain original properties, so if you take the top of a pot it will become a pot again after you drop it.

Dig holes anywhere and pull up bombs. The bombs will destroy any part of the landscape. Invincibility recommended.
