Super Mario Bros 2 (Version 1.1) Game Genie Codes (USA)
This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Super Mario Bros 2 (USA), a game for the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). If you're playing with an emulator you'll typically be able to put these codes into the program directly through a built in option. Any of you who are old school and playing on a physical console, you'll have to purchase a physical Game Genie cheat device to use these codes.

Holding an item while on a vine will prevent vertically-scrolling areas to scroll

Lifted Enemies/Items Produce Flying Carpets: ENKUOAEI
If an item can be freely grabbed it will produce a magic carpet after it is lifted up.

This cheat allows you to control the trajectory of thrown items to some degree (affects enemies too)
