Super Mario Bros - Fireball Manipulation Game Genie Codes (World)

This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Super Mario Bros (World), a game for the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). If you're playing with an emulator you'll typically be able to put these codes into the program directly through a built in option. Any of you who are old school and playing on a physical console, you'll have to purchase a physical Game Genie cheat device to use these codes.

You'll constantly throw Fireballs while holding B

Can Shoot Fireballs While Crouched: ALKLYTEI

Disable Fireball Object Collision: SUNTTPSP

Fireball Powerup Looks Like Luigi (Affects Both Players): POVAZITO

Fireballs Bounce Through Solid Objects: PENTIPEA

Fireballs Fly Straight #2: POSTZOGP

Fireballs Have Near-Horizontal Movement: AEKUATLA

Fireballs Pierce Through Enemies: SZXIIYSP

Slightly Slower Fireballs: AUELYTAG

Slow Fireballs: AOELYTAG

Toss Fireballs Over Your Head: KNULGTGE

Very Low-Bouncing Fireballs: NNKLGTAS

 

Control Your Fireball's Descent With A or B
Fireballs will keep going up when they bounce off the ground. Press A or B while it's going up and it will fall. Its rate of descent is proportionate to the length of time the A or B buttons are pressed. B=descend some; A=descend more; A+B=descend a lot.

When shot, fireballs will stay in place until an enemy runs into it.
