Maniac Mansion - Death Game Genie Codes (USA)

This page contains the Game Genie codes I have for Maniac Mansion (USA), a game for the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). If you're playing with an emulator you'll typically be able to put these codes into the program directly through a built in option. Any of you who are old school and playing on a physical console, you'll have to purchase a physical Game Genie cheat device to use these codes.

Dave receives all player's items, if player dies: LAVASTAA
This includes CD Player, don't enable until the game starts otherwise mouse will have a black outline

Die to turn into Razor (weird ed death): ZAUEETAA
Doesn't work when drowning

Freeze Death Counter, Feeds Green Tentacle instead: LTNAOTPT
You don't get a grave. If you keep dying in Ed's room you'll be able to walk around

Razor receives all player's items, if player dies: ZAVASTAA
If Razor dies, she keeps the items

Stay Visible, after dying (drowning): SLOSPNSO

Stay Visible, after dying (weird ed death): SLESGNSO
Doesn't work when drowning
