Cursed Taxi Side Quest - Persona 2: Innocent Sin Guides

The Cursed Taxi Side Quest begins by speaking with Fuyuko inside of Peace Diner located in the Yumezaki shopping center. You can find Fuyuko standing in front of Chikarin, one of the 5 Rumormongers in this game. When you talk with Fuyuko make sure to select the "Not at all." dialogue option to hear the rumor involving this quest.

Much like with all rumors in this game you will only have a very small window of opportunity to complete this one. You'll want to drop everything that you're doing and spread the rumor then head over to the Abandoned Factory to find the Cursed Taxi. I do not think it matters which room you run around in, the Cursed Taxi can spawn anywhere inside the Abandoned Factory as a random encounter.

Like all of the other rumors, run around until you encounter the Cursed Taxi in a random battle then beat it for your quest item. In this instance the item the Cursed Taxi drops is a Taxi Hat, you'll want to return this to Fuyuko inside of the Peace Diner for your reward. Your reward for this quest is a Mediarama Card which is actually quite good.

When you turn this quest in Fuyuko will inform you that you got the wrong hat, she'll then give you another quest involving the Cursed Escort rumor. For more information about this quest follow the link provided.

 

Note: The Cursed Taxi will run you over and flee from battle if you don't defeat it fast enough. Keep trying until you get lucky and it doesn't flee from battle if this happens to you.
