Parasite Eve Day 4 Walkthrough
The day starts with you needing to find Maeda, he's on the 3rd floor in the Criminal ID Lab. You should also visit Wayne in the basement to offload some of your items and to (possibly) upgrade equipment and gear. If you are interested in farming some Junk to make better weapons, today is a good day to do it. Check out my Weapons From Junk (Ultimate Weapons) Guide for more information.
After you talk with Maeda you'll be asked to choose a location on the World Map, to continue with the story head to the Hospital. Outside Maeda will talk to you and he'll give you another charm, Mayoke. Neither of the charms he gives us have any purpose at all (except taking up a precious inventory slot), so you're free to stash them at Wayne whenever is best for you.
Once you're inside the hospital, go through the door above the entrance and grab the Tool from inside the chest here. There is a chest in the southwest with some ammo too; once you grab both continue west to the elevator and press the button on the wall to call it (not the green button, that's for the door). Press the button inside the elevator for a short scene where Eve sends you down to the basement.
The first room to search in the basement is the storage room, you'll find Ammo +30 in the blue chest, the Fuse 1 Special Item on the shelf along with an M79 (Red chest SW corner of room). Down the hall from the storage room is a Morgue which has two blue chests with items that vary and an Autopsy Key inside the right drawer on the desk (pictured below). To reach the Autopsy Key you'll need to go through the opening in the curtains.
With the Autopsy Key in hand, return to the hallway we came from and go through the locked door. There are two chests to find in here, one has a Tool and the other normally has an Offense +1, both are found on the right side of the screen. Above where the Tool is found there will be a door, head through to another room.
This room has two key items that we need, the first is found left of where you enter - search the burned corpse for a Blue Cardkey (pictured below). In the top right portion of this room there will be a glowing item on top of a medicine cabinet, grab it for Fuse 2 (also pictured below). Search the chest in the bottom left of this room for a B Vest 1 too (found in a blue chest).
Leave this area and return to the Morgue at the end of the hallway. Right before you enter the door to the Morgue turn right and go down the hallway, you will find a panel with a blue blinking light on the right hand wall. Aya will automatically use the Blue Cardkey on the panel to open the door, proceed through to a new area.
Open the blue chest to your left for a new gun, it can be an M10 or a Micro UZ, I have seen both. Run towards the bottom of the screen to find another set of broken stairs, you'll also see a sparkling item on the left side (similar to how the fuses looked). This is normally an Offense +1 or Offense +2.
Across from where we got the M10/Micro UZ you'll find a door that leads to an office area, this is where we need to go. There is a Tool on the left side of the room in a blue chest and Medicine 2 at the bottom, also in a blue chest. In the bottom right corner of this room you'll find an item sparkling on the ground, this is Fuse 3 (pictured below).
Exit this room and go to the fuse box at the top of the screen, you'll need to repair the wires and insert all 3 fuses before you're able to power the electricity back on. Once the electricity is back and the song kicks in, return to the elevator and hit the switch on the wall next to it. To be honest, it can be kinda hard to see the switch, just spam X while running along the wall right next to the elevator if you're having trouble.
Board the elevator and interact with the panel inside to ride it back to the first floor. The door that was locked in the northern part of the lobby is now open, head through to find an examine room with a dr and a nurse inside. Search the ground behind the cabinet (near the X-rays) at the top of the room to find a Trading Card.
Tip: Around this time you will learn the Haste Parasite Power which is a very strong spell, I recommend you use it and try it out.
To the right of this exam room you'll find another room, after defeating the enemies inside the nurse will give you a Green Cardkey which will get you access to the last parts of this floor. Before you leave this room search the blue chest in the top right corner for an SP Jacket armor piece.
By the elevators you'll find a nurse who tells you our next destination, interact with the blinking green light to open the door to the next area. In the northern part of this area you'll find a blue chest which has a Range +1 or a Bullet Cap +1 in it, there may be other stuff that can spawn here too but I have seen those two. Go through the door to the left of this chest to continue.
You'll find a blue chest in this room with some ammo and a valve right next to it which you need to interact with before going back to the elevators. At the elevator you'll want to select the 13th floor, there is only one door you can enter. Inside you will find a chest in the southwest corner, it has a G3A3. In the northwestern portion of this room you'll find a red arrow on the wall, interact with it and then with the machine next to it to push it out of the way. Press the red button on the wall to open the door at the northern end of this room.
Search the cabinet next to the door you opened for a Medicine 3 item. In the next room you'll find a CR Evade +1 in the blue chest, continue north to a small area with one room and an elevator. You'll find two chests in the room, one has ammo and the other an item. There will also be two sparkling areas on the floor near the knocked over file cabinet. Search both of these areas for story updates, you will also find the Elevator Key in this location.
Use the Elevator Key to gain access to the elevator, when you enter there will be a cutscene. When you regain control of Aya you'll need to interact with the panel in the elevator to ride up to the roof. You should prepare for a difficult boss fight coming up, use any healing items or upgrades that you need now.
The most annoying attack this boss has is the web ability which will root Aya in place. You'll want to use the Cure-M potion against this, it will break you out of any web that you're trapped in. As far as PE powers go, I would recommend you spend most of that on Heal skills. Barrier is nice too, but I avoid Haste since getting caught in a web will remove it.
When you get the boss to half health it will switch areas, the web attack gets a lot weaker but the rest of the boss fight stays the same. After you defeat it you'll get another scene, when you regain control of Aya you'll want to rush to the southwest corner to avoid the plane crash. There is a wooden cart next to the roof that you can jump into. You will have one fight against a normal enemy and a long scene before you arrive back at the Police Station.
Speak with Cathy near the door when you arrive and (if you need to) visit Wayne and deposit items/exchange Junk and upgrade anything. When you're ready to complete the day visit Daniel's office and speak with him. This used to be Baker's Officer, but seeing as how Daniel is in charge now...
