The Roaming Chocobo Forest - FF8 Guide

The Roaming Chocobo Forest is found east of the Basic one and southeast of the Beginner one. This forest is pretty unique in the sense that there are some Chicobos that start out already placed within the forest. For the first part of this puzzle approach either of these Chicobos and use the ChocoZiner near them.

Both will go back up in the trees, at this point you'll want to go to the entrance of the forest and have Squall stand parallel to the fallen log (as seen in the screenshot below on the right). Speak with this Chicobo to summon the mother Chocobo.

Your reward for this Chocobo Forest can be found by using the ChocoZiner in the area behind the mother Chocobo, as shown in the screenshot above. That's all for this forest.
