Quest #174 Agates Ain't Great...Are They? - Stornway Castle

Quest Requirements: Give the ghost an Agate of Evolution (Made with Alchemy)

Quest Pre-Requirements: This is a DLC Quest

Reward: Hero Spear

This quest is given to you by a ghost who is behind the Throne in Stornway Castle. In order to get the ghost to interact with you, you'll have to assign Salute as a Party Trick and use it in front of him before speaking with him.

For this quest all you have to do is create an Agate of Evolution with Alchemy. In my opinion the hardest part of this item to get is the Lucida Shards that you need. They are rare drops from Grotto chests as well as made through Alchemy. You can also farm Side Quest #061 if you want to get some Lucida Shards too.

Sainted Soma: 2 Lucida Shard + 2 Sage's Elixir + 2 Astral Plumes

Ethereal Stone: 1 Enchanted Stone + 1 Perfect Panacea + 2 Narspicious

Chronocrystal: Sold at Lonely Coast Cave

As for the Chronocrystals - head on over to Lonely Coast Cave, the same spot you get Side Quest #151 and Side Quest #184.
