Quest #152 Marey Questmas - Cringle Coast

Quest Requirements: Defeat Tantamounts (Volcano Grotto; high level) within 5 turns a total of 8 times for 8 Heavenly Horseshoes

Quest Pre-Requirements: This is a DLC Quest

Reward: Estark Map; Technicolour Dreamcloth when repeated

This quest is given to you by Santa Claus on the northeastern most island of the world map. You can only reach this island with the Starflight Express and there is more to do here than just this side quest. For more information about how to get here and what else you can find here I recommend reading my Walkthrough Chapter 9.

In addition to this quest you'll also find Side Quest #154 by inspecting the bookshelf behind Chris Cringle and Side Quest #062. Outside of the house in the same area as the reindeer you'll find a talking parrot who offers you Side Quest #167 which takes place in the same type of Grottos as this one. I'd highly recommend you pick this quest up too if you plan to do this one.

For this quest you will need to find a high level Volcano Grotto and defeat the Tantamount enemies in there. They're the horse looking guys shown in my screen shot below. The quest says you have to defeat them in 5 turns or less which should be a piece of cake for you - they don't have much health.

Once you're done with the quest you'll want to return to Santa and turn it in. He'll reward you with the Estark map, one of the boss maps in the game.
