Controls

D-Pad: Move Dixie/Kiddy Kong left or right, climb up or down ropes, crouch down
A button: Jump, Dixie/Kiddy Kong team up to throw one another
B button: Hold to run, Dixie/Kiddy Kong team up to perform a spinning attack
L button: Hold to dismount from animal buddy, team up move with Ellie and Parry
R button: Hold to use Animal Buddy abilities, team up move with Ellie and Parry
Select button: Switch between Dixie and Kiddy Kong
Start button: Pause game

 

While riding Animal Buddies, the controls change to:

D-Pad: Move left or right
A button: Jump
B button: Use animal buddy's special ability
L button: Hold to dismount from animal buddy
R button: Hold to use Animal Buddy abilities
