Grieg's End - Post Mercenary Leveling Guide

Grieg's End is another great location that covers a pretty wide span of levels. The zone is quite large with the middle of it having the highest level monsters and the outskirts near the zone lines having the lower level mobs. The best way to enter Grieg's End for what we want is through Dawnshroud Peaks.

The fastest way to Dawnshroud would be through The Nexus to Netherbian Lair then to Dawnshroud. Or if you're a wizard or druid and you've purchased all your spells up until now you'll have a port for Dawnshroud Peaks.

Once in Grieg's End you'll want to hang around the zone line until the mobs become dark blue and light blue to you. I'd recommend you never go more than 3 or 4 rooms deep into the zone until the mobs at the entrance start to con Light Blue and Dark Blue to you.

If you leave the path between you and the zone line clear you'll never get in so far over your head that you can't flee to save your hide. As you start to level up though you'll need to venture in deeper in order to get better EXP. On the map of the zone you'll see two large rooms smack dab in the center.

When you're high enough level to where enemies at the entrance start conning light and dark blue to you - you'll want to slowly progress inward until you reach these two large rooms. This is the best spot for you to hunt in the zone until the mid 60s.

The two large rooms will have mostly single pulls and as long as you stay out of the smaller rooms on the map you shouldn't find many larger pulls of 4-5+ enemies. As far as the loot goes in this zone I recommend you hang onto all the spells that you come across as well as any gems you may find. They'll make nice vendor trash for this level range.

- The best way to reach Grieg's End is through Dawnshroud Peaks which you can take the Guild Hall portal to - or find a Wiz/Dru to port you right here! If none of that's working out for you the old fashion way is by taking The Nexus stone in PoK and heading through Netherbian Lair. Use this guide for some extra guidance of how to reach this zone - just take a different turn in Dawnshroud Peaks.
