Follow Your Nose

Kill the vile Putremancer who wanders the grounds to the south

This is one of the easiest tasks players can do in Oceangreen Hills. Really all that is required of you is to track down Migglethrope the Putremancer and kill him. This named most commonly wanders the southeastern part of the zone but can be found anywhere really. This is the easiest task in the world for players that can track.

Reduce the Risk

Kill 15 diseased animals

This task is probably the easiest task in Oceangreen Hills. Really all it has you doing is killing the infected animals around the zone. These animals are all over the zone and are actually decent for leveling up. Names for the Faceless

Deliver 10 Irregular Signet Rings to Garvin Windrunner

This task here is my favorite OGH task because it is the easiest task to do and gives you the most XP out of all of them. The reason I find it to be so easy to do is because you can collect the Irregular Signet Rings before or after accepting the quest and still turn them in. You could farm up hundreds of them and just turn them all into the NPC once you're done. Since the task gives great XP and can be repeated indefinitely it is by far my favorite task to do in OGH.

Despite this task being so easy I will admit the zombies it has you killing are a little bit tough. Even at a higher level such as 85 these zombies can pose a problem if you get too many of them on you at once. This all of course depends entirely on how many AAs you have and your gear. If you have a lot of AAs and good gear you'll be able to plow through these zombies like no tomorrow. Or if you're a Paladin, oh boy talk about great XP!

Anyway I need to wrap this up because I could ramble about this place for awhile. I highly recommend you grind this task if you're looking for a task that is worth grinding. Does This Look Infected?

Loot and return 5 Infected Animal Organs to Tabron Caulria

Loot and return 1 undamaged Animal Organ to Tabron Caulria

This task is the most annoying of the tasks available in the northeastern town that are actually worth doing. Actually the only reason I recommend doing this task at all is because it can be done with the "Reduce the Risk" task mentioned above. Although for this task, much unlike the Names for the Faceless task you are forced to accept this task first before you are able to get credit for any of the objectives of the task.

The reason for this is because the task has you Loot and return the organs to Tabron Caulria instead of just return. If you accept this task at the same time as you accept Reduce the Risk there is really no reason you'll have to worry about the loot part of it. The only thing that is kind of annoying about it is the fact that if you start finding additional organs you pretty much just gotta let them rot.

A side note that is worth knowing here is the Infected Animal Organs are the ones that will come from the Infected Animals... obviously. The other organ, the Undamaged Animal Organ comes from the corpses that litter the ground all over OGH. If you weren't around for the LDoN expansion looting these corpses may be a bit weird for you. What you need to do is use your "Open" ability on them to, well, open them for looting! This ability can be found in the actions window, just select a button for it as you would any of your other abilities and place it on a hotbar.

Blackburrow Tasks

The following tasks are all tasks that you will get from the gnoll encampment far to the southwest of Oceangreen Hills. These tasks are done inside Blackburrow which is in the eastern part of Oceangreen Hills. Depending on if you decide to hunt in Blackburrow or not will determine if you pick up these tasks. In order to even enter Blackburrow you will need to pick up and complete these tasks (which will then allow you to enter anytime with or without the tasks). Below is the map of the little gnoll camp you can find these tasks at.

Invading the Invaders

Defeat 20 Blackburrow Gnolls

Collect 4 Wrext Mal Insignias

Any of the gnolls inside Blackburrow count towards the total for this task. The Wrext Mal Insignias that you need for the task drop from any of the gnolls inside Blackburrow. They're a fairly common drop too, usually at least a 50% chance to drop on each kill meaning you will get many more than you actually need by the time you complete this task.

Send the Message

Kill a prominent member of the Blackburrow clan and loot his finger 0/1

Kill 12 of the gnolls within Blackburrow

This is the hardest task to accomplish in Blackburrow as not only is it rather difficult to find a named mob in here (which is where you will get the finger from) but all of the named mobs are deep down inside Blackburrow so you will be adventuring into territory where you could possibly get 3 to 5 gnolls on you with each and every pull.

Summary Execution

Destroy 5 of the dangerous Wrext Mal Elite gnolls in Blackburrow

Destroy 15 of the twisted Blackburrow Gnolls

Another extremely easy quest to do inside Blackburrow. All this quest has you do is kill the gnolls that you come across. The 5 that you need to kill are the gnolls deep down inside around the lake which appear to be on steroids with how big they are and the twisted Blackburrow Gnolls are nothing more than the regular mobs that you find all over inside Blackburrow.
