Evantil, The Vile Oak - RoF Leveling Guide

This zone is one massive field for you to kill in. If you like zones similar to Wall of Slaughter, The Grounds, Beast's Domain and Rathe Council Chambers you'll really like this zone. There are a few safe spots around the outter walls of this zone for you to pull too and the whole zone in area is fairly good for kiting.

I've marked a few locations that I enjoy on the map above which I will explain more about below. First though, I would like to mention the inside of the tree. The very first room you enter the tree at is decent for hunting, with the Alaran enemies (they have their own collection set). Past them though there really aren't many good camps until they very top of the tree. We'll get to that in a second.

#1: This is a good area to farm Burntbark, a named which drops Fear Infused Charcoal, a nice Heroic Agility aug. If your group is good enough you can also pull A Blob of Sap while also pulling Burntbark.

#2: This area is a decent EXP spot which you can pull two nameds from, A Blob of Sap and Yunaizarn.

#3: This area is great for kiters.

At the very top of the tree in Evantil you can pull from the walkways on the branches - you have a few nameds up here but one in particular, Ruaabri is worth mentioning. He drops an item called Ruaabri's Fist which is a clicky item that increases your max HP and it stacks with every other buff in the game.

Additional Information

- All Rain of Fear zones can be reached through Shard's Landing once you complete the attunement quest for that zone's portal. Otherwise you'll need to take the long route to Evantil, The Vile Oak.

- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.
