Feerrott: The Dream Leveling Locations

Feerrott: The Dream is the entry zone for the House of Thule expansion pack. It's also the zone that all Heroic Characters start in; because of that it has kind of a noobie zone design to it. In the northern portion near the PoK book you'll find vendors, quest givers and even guards that'll protect the town from trains.

I'm not going to go into detail in this guide about the tasks you can complete in this zone - but you may be interested to learn that an updated version of the Journeyman Tier 5 Mercenary quest takes place here. It's much easier to do than the one that takes place in Korascian Warrens.

As far as the leveling locations in this zone go - those under geared or without many AAs will do best hunting in the large blue areas I have marked on the map above. These locations have a mixture of relatively weak enemies and regular enemies.

Nameds in the Blue Boxes on the map above:

Vermillion: Necklace of the Drowned, Necklace of the Revived, Intricate Scarlet Rod

Sable: Whitened Totem, Bleached Totem, Scale of the Dark Serpent (Aug)

The Leaper: Leaper's Silk Collar, Silken Collar of the Jungle Arachnid, Jumping Axe

Shaman Ixchell: Raven Claw Amulet, Horrific Shrunken Head, Shield of Rituals

In the upper right and upper left hand corners you'll notice I have two different colored circles. The Pink one represents a camp of Undead which is a fantastic location for any class with Slay Undead abilites. There's only a single named that spawns here... Expedition Leader Krupp.

The other circle, the dark green one represents a camp of apes. This is one of my prefered camps of the zone since a majority of the mobs are spaced out enough to make it easy enough for small groups or small boxers and the apes don't run or do anything too crazy.

There are two nameds in the Green Circle:

Festerback: Putrid Gorilla Fur Mask, Festerface, Rattle of the Easily Amused

Enraged Gorilla Patriarch: Drape of the Ape, Great Ape's Nape Drape, Fearful Spiked Knuckles

South of the small green circle you'll find an even larger purple circle. This location is good for soloers who don't want no relatively weak enemies. Small groups or boxers can also hunt here but there really is no 'camp location'. You're going to be constantly on the move at this camp.

Purple Circle named enemies:

Whitepaw: Faceguard of Turning Dreams, Whitepaw's Faceplate of Realized Nightmare, Guard of Tangible Thoughts

Blackbone: Leaf of Autumn, Leaf of Blackest Winter, Dreadcloak, Dreadcloak of the Backbone

Fearful Specter: Trinket of the Fearful, Spectral Skull of the Fear, Sword of the Specter

Patches: Badly Chewed Doll, Slightly Chewed Doll, Patches' Gnarled Bone (Aug)

Bouncer Captain Grak: Grak's Crude Stein, Clurg's Prized Stein, Bouncer's Best Friend

Tanglewolf Alpha: Tanglewolf Fang, The Alpha's Adornment, The Alpha's Claw

Finally the last location to draw your attention to is the huge temple of lizardmen in the southern part of the zone nearby the Cazic Thule zone line. This camp is by far the hardest camp in the entire zone and I very strongly recommend you avoid it unless you're a boxer or have a full and prepared group.

Once a few expansions pass this is a decent location for rangers to Headshot at as well. None of the enemies here summon except for the nameds and they can all be rooted/snared and crowd controlled fairly easily. Some of the named enemies at this camp though are a real pain in the butt so if you do plan on trying out this camp you best be prepared for hard nameds, bad pathing and LOTS of enemies with pretty big agro radius'!!

Named enemies inside the Red Triangle on the Map:

Sentinel Quilaztli: Quilaztli's Cutlass, Chipped Shards of Dread, Shards of the Jungle Sentinel

Xiucozcatl the Feared: Totem of Dark Rites, Totem of Vile Rites, Fearless Bulwark

Temilotzin the Zealot: Dagger of the Devoted, Zealot's Faceguard of Terrified Aggression, Volew Scale Visor

There you have it! That's all there is to Feerrott: The Dream. As you can tell there is quite a bit to do in this zone and it's a fairly good location for players to hunt for many expansions to come.

Additional Information

- There are two ways to reach Feerrott: The Dream. The first of which is through the Guild Hall and the second is by taking the Oggok PoK Stone.

- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.

- If you need more plat while leveling I strongly recommend you check out my How to make more plat while leveling by Bartering Guide. It'll give you a list of all the different items you should be keeping an eye out for to Barter/Sell!
