Level 100 Everquest Farming Guides
This page of my website will be radically different from all of the rest of my Farming Guides since I have a really good feeling 100 will stay Endgame EQ for awhile. Even if it does not, I will hopefully be able to flesh out these farming guides better than the 80 - 95 ones. If you have been playing EQ for awhile past level 70/80 you will soon realize that you can't farm anymore how you used to be able too. What I mean by that is you won't be able to just kill a bunch of mobs anymore and make money from the plat they drop.
You are going to have to gather up Attuneable Gear or something else that you will be able to sell for plat. On all servers aside from Fironia Vie you will only be able to sell the Attuneable Gear which you get from drops. Nameds in Tier 1 zones drop Attuneable Gear, any tiers past that you won't find Attuneable drops from nameds. You will, however, find Attuneable gear drops from trash mobs in T1, T2, T3 and T4 zones. It's not common but it's not uncommon either. Most of it sells for junk though so it will not be 'amazing' money, just warning you now.
Before I go into any of my Farming Guides for level 100 I would like to bring up something they added in with the Rain of Fear expansion. In all RoF zones there are little glowing balls you can find throughout almost every portion of the zone that you can pick up and use for your Collectibles achievements. Completion of these achievements will give you XP rewards as well as items for finishing whole zones. For finishing all of tier 1 and 2 Collections you will be awarded with a Sliver of Fear aug which is an amazing aug that will be useful for many expansions to come.
If you are not on Fironia Vie or are only a solo player it will be much harder for you to make plat than if you boxed or playing on FV. In my opinion, the best way to farm plat solo is to run around to zones people seldom go to and pick up Collectibles. Most of these farming guides below will be covering this method.
