Working for Akulatraxas - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 3)

Working for Akulatraxas is a side quest that begins by speaking with Akulatraxas inside of her lair in Moonwood. You can find Akulatraxas' Lair in the central portion of the Moonwood map, specifically the second Moonwood map. Moonwood in this game is technically 2 maps, you travel through one that is to the west of Beorunna's Well then you go deeper into Moonwood from that map.

If you're still confused by my directions about where to find Akulatraxas Lair use my screenshot below. This dragon will ask you to defeat the Hill Giant Chieftan whose found in a cave west of her lair and return his head. I've also marked this cave on the map below too so you can easily find it.

The cave with Hill Giants is quite big and I recommend you loot everything as you go through it - I always find quite a few magical items inside! You'll find our target on the 2nd floor in the southern most portion. A screenshot of him can be found below with my map open.

Once you have defeated the Hill Giant Chieftan make sure you loot his head and then return to Akulatraxas to complete this quest. It's worth noting that you'll probably want to attack and defeat Akulatraxas that way we can steal her eggs from the treasure room... Plus any goodies she has in there too.

The reason you'll want Akulatraxas' eggs is because Klauth will ask for some dragon eggs as part of the Klauth the Ancient Red Wyrm side quest. Your only other option is to kill Gorgotha the Gold Dragon but then you'll miss out on the reward for her quest (because her quest involves killing Klauth).
