Gorgotha the Gold Dragon - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 3)
Gorgotha the Gold Dragon is a side quest that begins by speaking with... Gorgotha the Gold Dragon. You'll find Gorgotha on the Moonwood: Spine of the World map, she's inside of a cave in the central portion of the map. For this quest Gorgotha asks that you hunt down and slay Klauth whose found inside of the Fire Giants Lair.
You can find the entrance to the Fire Giant Lair north of Gorgotha's lair, it's the northern most map marker/dungeon in the Moonwood: Spine of the World map. The inside of this dungeon will have numerous maps which will share the same name. Klauth's Lair can be found in the eastern Fire Giants Lair map, a screenshot of the map you can find his lair on is shown below.
Before you attack Klauth for his head it's recommended you complete the quest he gives you, Klauth the Ancient Red Wyrm. In order to complete this quest you'll need to bring Klauth a pair of Dragon Eggs - since we want to complete this quest too it obviously means we can't give him Gorgotha's Eggs... That means by process of elimination we can only hand over Akulatraxas' Green Dragon Eggs.
Assuming that you want to do the extra legwork to maximize the amount of EXP you can earn I have created a quick list that details what order to do these quests in.
1. Complete the Working for Akulatraxas side quest
2. Defeat Akulatraxas and loot the Green Dragon Eggs
3. Complete Klauth the Ancient Red Wyrm
4. Eliminate Klauth and take his head
5. Turn in Klauth's Head to Gorgotha to complete Gorgotha the Gold Dragon

One of the first things you can do to make this fight easier is feed Klauth a Dead Dragon Sphere which will bring his health down to "Badly Injured". You can get a Dead Dragon Sphere from the Dragon Dungeon map which can be found just north above Klauth's Lair. If you look at the map above there is another staircase that leads down to the north of Klauth's Lair, these stairs lead to the Dragon Dungeon map.
In the Dragon Dungeon you will find a Blue Dragon who is currently held in place with some magic. Attack and defeat the Blue Dragon then visit the Fountain nearby and pick up the Dragon Sphere from inside. Place the Dragon Sphere into the Dragon Orb Pedestal and it'll turn into Dead Dragon Sphere. The Ritual Book will tell you all about this process that you find in the Fountain too if my write up isn't good enough.
