Nine Lives - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 2)

Nine Lives is a side quest that takes place in Luskan and begins by speaking with Londa inside of The Cutlass building in the southern part of town. Ask Londa for work and she will offer you this quest. The town of Luskan is only accessible during the final half of Chapter 2.

For this quest Londa asks you to save 9 of her children from the clutches of High Captain Baram. Sadly, all of Londa's children are already dead so we won't be saving any of them. However, the Nanny who was in charge of all the children is still alive and you'll find her in Baram's Lair which you can reach through the sewers.

The Nanny is found in the southern portion of Baram's Lair just a little bit southwest of the Necromantic Summoning Ritual map marker. You'll have to click on a Cocoon in order to free her then talk with her to continue with this quest. She'll give you a Child's Bear item which is all that's left of the children. Return this item to Londa to complete this quest.

One of your rewards for this quest will be a Vault Key which you can use to open a hidden room in the southern portion of the Luskan - Sewers map. You'll find this hidden room directly west of where The Ghoul Lords side quest begins, there will be a total of 4 chests inside for you to loot.

If you need help finding the location to use the Vault Key take a look at my screenshot below. The chests will typically have a few magical items in them so in my opinion it's worth going out of your way to loot them.
