Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Walkthrough - (Elly Route) Chapter 2
Elly's route only has a single dungeon to do, Sumaru TV. You can find Sumaru TV in the southern portion of the Aoba Ward... before you go there though you may want to swap out Elly's Persona for something better. Her Persona is a very strong mismatch for this dungeon and it's worth fixing now.
Check out my Best Personas Guide for more information about which Personas are good during this level range. Your goal is to try and pick Personas that you can use Fusion Spells with. Using Fusion Spells will make you do significantly more damage and it also has a chance to power up your Persona or mutate it into something new.
When you arrive at Sumaru TV the first thing you'll want to do is speak with everyone inside. One of the Security Guards will give you a new rumor (pictured below). You'll want to leave the TV station and spread the rumor before starting the dungeon.

Sumaru TV Demon Dialogue Choices
Our first task in Sumaru TV is to enter Dressing Room 1, 2 and 3 (in that order) on the 2F. We need to speak with everyone inside Dressing Room 1 and 2 then we can enter Dressing Room 3. There will be a short scene in Dressing Room 3, when you leave this room you'll be "inside the trap", this means there are some new demon encounters.
Now that we're inside of the trap, everything is in black and white. We need to find Studio 1 and then Studio 2 on this floor, you'll get a scene inside of Studio 2 that requires you to visit a Dressing Room on the 3F. If you need help finding any of the Studio locations use my map(s) below.
You will also find a Velvet Room and a Trish's Fountain on the 3F. This makes a good opportunity for me to give you my tip again about the Marduk Persona. Summon Marduk and raise him up to max level then Return him at the Velvet Room for an Agility Source item. Equip the Agility Source on Katsuya or Baofu first since it'll help fix their naturally low Agility. For right now all we need to do on the 3F is visit Dressing Room 4 for a scene with Brad and Yukki. They will tell you the correct studio that we need to visit next (Studio 5) and also kind of explain the puzzle you're faced with... I found their explanation overly confusing though...
So, here is my break down of what you need to do in Sumaru TV. Steps 1-3 are what we already did.
Sumaru TV To-Do List Order:
1. Dressing Room 1, 2 and 3 on the 2F
2. Studio 1 then Studio 2 on the 2F
3. Dressing Room 4 on the 3F for a scene with Brad and Yukki
4. Visit Studio 5 on the 4F
5. (Boss Battle) Enter Studio 3 on the 3F
6. Head up to the 5th floor and enter Studio 7 for another boss fight
7. Return to the 2F and enter Studio 2
8. Go back to the 5th floor and enter Studio 6 for another boss fight
9. Back to the 3F again, this time for Studio 4
10. You can find the final Studio 8 on the 6F in the south
Studio Order: 1, 5, 3, 7, 2, 6, 4, 8
Basically this dungeon will have you going up and down floors/taking the elevator numerous times to visit each of the studios. If you need help finding any of the Studio locations check my maps on this page for more information.
One thing to mention about the 4th floor is that the top left corner won't be available for exploration until after you finish Studio 8 and the puzzle that locks you into the black and white world. If you're doing the Salam map quest you'll have to wait to explore this area until after that.
When you finally arrive in Studio 8 you'll have another boss fight, this time it will be against the Black Cat we've been dealing with since we got here. This cat will reflect all Persona based attacks which means you'll have to defeat it with your regular weapons. My advice is to have someone (like Maya) use Mediarama every round while you attack with everyone else.
If you haven't mutated Maya's Maia Persona you may want to do that asap as well. This is one of the best Persona in the game almost precisely because you can get it at a lower level. Since Maia is lower level the SP usage will be lower and since it comes with Mediarama you'll be able to spam it every single turn during harder fights without any worry about running out of SP. In other words, Maya is the best group healer you could ever ask for in the first half of the game.
After taking care of the Black Cat boss you'll get another scene when you leave that tells you to visit Studio 1 again on the 2F. Head down there and you'll have our final boss fight of this dungeon against Chizuru Ishigami and four Shikigamis. Chizuru only has 1HP so hit her with something quick to eliminate her, then focus on the Shikigamis.
Every Shikigami has one type of magic that it reflects and a different type for a weakness. The only real way to tell them apart is the quote they give you when you use Contact on them. Honestly, I just blow them up and whichever one reflects an attack... so be it. When the battle is over you'll have some scenes after which you'll regain control of Maya in Baofu's Lair. Talk with everyone then head out, the routes merge together again at this point so head back to the main walkthrough!
