Shattered Halls Instance Guide

Shattered Halls is the final instance located in Hellfire Citadel, In Hellfire Peninsula. Shattered Halls is also one of the highest level 5man Instances in the Outlands. In order to open the gate to access Shattered Halls you will need the Shattered Halls Key. The Shattered Halls Key comes from a long quest line that starts in Shadowmoon Valley. To see the long quest line click here.

Even though Shattered Halls is a level 70 instance it can be solo'd fairly easily at level 80. Below is a video and instance walk through to help you easily solo all of Shattered Halls. Also, if you'd like to see a list of quests for Shattered Halls click here.

Shattered Halls Solo Part 2

When running Shattered Halls the first boss you will come across will be Grand Warlock Nethekurse. You can get to Grand Warlock Nethekurse one of two ways. One you can have a Rogue open the door and run right two him. Or if you don't have a Rogue you need to fall into the sewers and get to him that way.

Grand Warlock Nethekurse

When you first enter his room he will be blabbing on about his useless servents. Pull the orcs in the room and kill them, when you kill the final one he agros. He will use Deathcoil on random people in your party as well as create Void Zones on the floor. Void Zones will deal a great deal of damage to anyone who stays in them, so do the obvious thing. Move out of them. At around 25% HP Nethekurse will start to "Dark Spin" doing and AoE Shadowbolt and also a whirlwind.

Loot Table:

Cloak of Malice

Greathelm of the Unbreakable

Ivory Idol of the Moongoddess

Bands of Nethekurse

Telaari Hunting Girdle

After you kill Grand Warlock Nethekurse the next boss will be Warbringer O'mrogg. Unless you're on heroic difficulty then the next boss will be Blood Guard Porung. Blood Guard Porung will be covered in my heroic version of this guide.

Warbringer O'mrogg

Warbringer O'mrogg is a two headed Ogre, his two heads talk to other throughout the fight. Rather comical actually. Anyway, he will cast aoe fear during the fight and also use Thunderclap. Netheir of these are the real concerns. He will use Blast Wave/Burning Weapon and also periodically switch agro. Blast Wave will deal a lot of damage to anyone in the 70's level range, however there is no counter. So just eat it.

The other thing to worry about is him switching agro. Throughout the fight he will just randomly pick another player in your group to focus on. When he does this, you can't taunt him off, that player has to tank him for the duration of this debuff.

Loot Table:

Jeweled Boots of Sanctification

Firemaul of Destruction

Skyfire Hawk-Bow

Runesong Dagger

Tidefury Shoulderguards

After you kill Warbringer O'mrogg the next and final boss is Kargath Bladefist. Before I even start to explain the strategy I mind as well say the most important part is that you DO NOT LEAVE HIS PLATFORM. If you leave the platform he is standing on at any point during the encounter a group of assassins will rape you, literally.

Kargath Bladefist

The only special ability Kargath has during this whole fight is Blade Dance. About 30 seconds after you engage him he will run around the platform uncontrollably. During this players should move to a nearby corner and take cover from Kargath, otherwise they will get eatten alive. Also while the fight is going on non elite adds will run up to the platform to help Kargath. They trickle in very slow and can easily be killed or off tanked. Do what you'd like with them.

Loot Table:

Hortus' Seal of Brilliance

Gauntlets of Desolation

Nexus Torch

Hallowed Handwraps

Greaves of the Shatterer

Gloves of Oblivion

Beast Lord Handguards

Figurine of the Colossus

Wastewalker Gloves

Demonblood Eviscerater

Gauntlets of Righteous

Lightsworn Hammer
