Enchant Weapon - Icy Chill Farming Location (Classic - WoTLK)
The Formula: Enchant Weapon - Icy Chill drops from the Anguished Highborne enemies in Winterspring. You'll find these enemies west of Everlook all around the frozen lake in the central portion of Winterspring. There will be some other undead enemies mixed in with the Anguished Highbornes as well as a chance for an Elemental Invasion to happen in this area.
Note: On the WoW Classic re-release the Elemental Invasions began between phases 2 and 3 on December 10th 2019.
If an Elemental Invasion happens then the amount of gold you can make an hour farming here increases. These water elementals drop Essence of Water in addition to Elemental Water, both of which will sell on the Auction House. Essence of Water always has value as it's used in many of the best crafting recipes in Classic WoW. Elemental Water won't have much value until Naxxramas and Sapphiron, he's basically the only reason in the game that you use Greater Frost Protection Potions.
Horde have no quests for this location but Alliance do which means you'll more likely see Alliance here than Horde. For those of you playing on PvP servers, you'll want to keep this in mind before coming here.
These undead are actually pretty good enemies to farm even without this Enchant dropping from them. All of the undead are casters and due to that they have insanely low armor making them extremely easy to take out for physical damage dealers. They also drop a decent amount of Runecloth and silver, which is largely what makes them a good location to farm at 60.
As always, having Herbalism or Mining will increase the amount of gold you can make drastically from farming here. Since Winterspring is one of the end game zones you can find Black Lotus here and Rich Thorium, the two rarest/most valuable things Herbalists and Miners can gather.
