Winterfall Furbolg Mageweave Cloth Farming in Winterspring (Cataclysm)

Winterfall Den Watcher

Much like their Timbermaw-hating relatives, the Winterfall Furbolgs also have a very good drop rate on some Mageweave Cloth. If you have either mining or herbalism then you will rejoice at how much stuff you can gather around here and how valuable it is. As a miner this will be one of very few locations where you can farm Mageweave Cloth and mine Thorium Ore at the exact same time. Now I don't know about your server but people on mine go crazy for Thorium Ore as well as the gems inside of it. I can net easily 50g per stack of Thorium Bars without even trying.

Winterfall Village

As for Herbalism this location will be the start of Mountain Silversage, which is a high level 60 herb. Also Winterspring is littered (literally) with a herb called Icecap. While flying or running around Winterspring you'll notice so many dots of Icecap popping up on your mini map that you will be lucky not to have a seizure. Now, Icecap usually doesn't sell as well as Mountain Silversage does but you should still be able to make a decent profit off of it.

You may be wondering if you can get Timbermaw Reputation here just like you would at the Deadwood camps in Felwood. The answer is yes. The only real difference is that these Furbolgs drop Winterfall Spiritbeads instead of Deadwood Headdress Feathers. You still need to turn in 5 at a time and they both award the same amount of reputation per turn in. As a final note, keep an eye out for chests in Winterfall Village (the camp furthest to the east) I have seen quite a few chests spawn in this area.
