Stonemaul Ruins Farming

Stonemaul Ruins is an amazing location for farming Silk Cloth if you're a Skinner. It's very rare for skinable mobs to drop cloth, but this is one of the locations that it is possible. You'd think that since they can be skinned and also drop cloth that they'd be gay to kill or have some other negative thing about them that would make this camp "eh" but that simply isn't true in this case! The Dragonkin in this area are massively abundant, easy to kill and spread out just enough so you can chain kill them with minimal travel time!

There are 3 different places the Dragonkin can spawn in Stonemaul Ruins, On the map above I have two of the locations circled, but for some odd reason the map doesn't show the cave that is also in Stonemaul Ruins. The cave is at the far western end of the camp and has as many Dragonkin in it as the outside areas do. Now if you followed the age-old theory in WoW that skinning and mining make the most money ever then, you will realize it actually comes true for this single camp. The sheer amount of leather you will get here is an amazing profit but if you have mining you will also be able to collect the Iron and Mithril Ore from the local area as well.

The two downsides that I can think of for here are there are absolutely no herbs that spawn in the area. But, if you don't have herbalism, who cares? Also there are no chests that spawn in the area. However, another plus to this location (as if you needed another one) is that the Dragonkin also drop Mageweave Cloth as well as Silk Cloth!
