Eye of the Storm Guide

Eye of the Storm was the only battleground that was added in Burning Crusade. This Battleground shares similar terrain as Netherstorm and.... well.... sucks. The battleground has 4 bases and a flag in the middle, it's similar to both Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch. Did I mention this Battleground sucks?

 

General Information

- At the start of the battleground, you're in a big purple bubble. After it disappears, you have the option of jumping right off and taking a lot of damage or hitting the little ledge in front of you and falling off of that to the left or right for almost no damage.

- The more towers you have the more points you gain per second. Also the more towers you have the more points a Flag Capture gets you.

Accumulating "Victory Points"

1 Tower - 1 Point Per Second
2 Towers - 2 Points Per Second
3 Towers - 5 Points Per Second
4 Towers - 10 Points Per Second

2 Towers - 85 Points For A Flag Capture
3 Towers - 100 Points For A Flag Capture
4 Towers - 500 Points For A Flag Capture

Strategies

"Two Bases and Flag" - As simple as it sounds, grab any two bases, and run the flag. The easiest two for horde are Fel Reaver Ruins and Blood Elf Tower. The Easiest two for Alliance are Draenei Ruins and Mage Tower.

"Three Bases and Flag" - Same as the previous strategy just with 3 bases.

"Zerg" - Ahh what would any BG be without this Strategy. Well in EoTS it works like this, have 7 run to one base close to your spawn point and 8 to the other. From here have everyone move up to the bases furthest from your starting area.

 

Power-Ups

Berserking - Increases all damage done by 30%, all damage taken by 10% and increases your size.

Restoration - Restores 10% of your health and mana every second for 10 seconds.

Speed - Increases movement speed by 100% for 10 seconds.
