The Pagemaster is a video game based on the 1994 film of the same name, released by Fox Interactive in 1994. The game follows the story of a young boy named Richard Tyler who gets transported into a magical library while seeking shelter from a storm. Inside the library, Richard must embark on an adventure through various literary worlds, including Fantasy, Adventure, and Horror, to collect pages from famous books and defeat enemies to ultimately find his way back home.

The game is a side-scrolling action-adventure with platforming elements, where players control Richard as he navigates through different book-themed levels, encountering puzzles, challenges, and enemies along the way. The Pagemaster features colorful graphics, memorable characters from classic literature, and a soundtrack that complements the magical and adventurous atmosphere of the game.
