NBA Live 97 is a basketball video game released in 1996 by Electronic Arts (EA). It is the third installment in the NBA Live series and features all 29 NBA teams and a roster of real-life NBA players from the 1996 season. The game includes updated player attributes, new moves and animations, and improved AI to create a more realistic basketball experience. NBA Live 97 also introduced the Create-a-Player feature, allowing players to customize their own basketball player and join the NBA. The game was released for various platforms, including the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Sega Genesis, PlayStation, and PC.
