Mortal Kombat 3 is a fighting game developed by Midway and released in 1995 for arcade systems. The game is the third installment in the Mortal Kombat series and features the return of classic characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Raiden, as well as introducing new characters like Cyrax and Sheeva. Mortal Kombat 3 also added new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to run, perform chain combos, and use fatalities and babalities to finish off opponents. The game was later ported to various home consoles, including the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, and PlayStation.
