Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals is a role-playing game developed by Neverland Co. and published by Taito for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released in Japan in 1995, and in North America and Europe in 1996. The game is a prequel to the first Lufia game, "Lufia and the Fortress of Doom," and follows the story of Maxim and his companions as they try to save the world from the Sinistrals, a group of four god-like beings who threaten to destroy everything.
