Troll's Maze Side Quest - Dragon Quest VIII

The Troll's Maze is a side quest which you can complete towards the very end of the game when you've beaten Marcello in Neos and the Black Citadel has taken to the skies east of Argonia. For this side quest you will want to Zoom to Argonia and spend the day at the Inn. Only rest until evening as that's the only time we can access this dungeon.

Once nightfall hits, go up the stairs right next to the Inn and into the building at the top. This is the building you'll find the glowing mirror in which grants you access to Troll's Maze. As for the dungeon itself, there is no map of the dungeon so you'll have to navigate it the old fashion way.

There are only two treasure chests for you to find in the dungeon, one has a Hell Sabre and the other has a Mini Medal in it. The other loot, the Seeds of Strength and Life are rewarded to you for beating the trolls who are planning on cooking the Chancellor and his family alive.

Answer Yes then No to begin the boss battle with the trolls. The fight itself is rather straight forward and easy, just be sure to Kabuff yourself and Acceleratle and these guys shouldn't pose much of a threat at all. You'd have to be severly underleveled for them to take you out.
