Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. It was released in North America for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003 and also was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X for its release in Europe.

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg has a very unique style of gameplay that revolves around rolling large eggs. The player controls Billy (our hero), who by himself cannot do much other than move and jump. However, he becomes an absolute powerhouse once he finds himself an egg. While rolling an egg, Billy moves faster and is more agile. He also gains the ability to dash, throw, and return the egg along the ground, slam the egg down from the air, and Billy can also travel on rails and fly through rings.
