Pokemon Blue - Change Opponent Status Gameshark Codes (USA, Europe)

This page contains all of the Gameshark codes I have for Pokemon Blue (USA, Europe), a game for the Game Boy handheld console. If you are playing on a physical Game Boy/GBC then you'll need to purchase a physical Gameshark device to use the codes that you find on this page.

For those of you who are using an Emulator, you can normally input codes by going to the Cheats menu. Depending on the Emulator you use the process will be different, head over to my RetroArch, VisualBoy Advance (Depreciated), VisualBoy Advance-M, mGBA or Sameboy guides to learn how to use these codes with the Emulator of your choice.

Change Opponent Status: 01??F9CF

 

Replace the ?? above with the Status you'd like to inflict on the Opponent from the list below. These ailments are semi-permanent and can not be cured during the battle. If you capture the Pokemon you can take it to the Poke Center and cure the ailment that way.

20 - Opponent Is Frozen Solid
30 - Opponent Is Frozen Solid And Hurt By Burn
31 - Opponent Is Asleep And Hurt By Burn
50 - Opponent Is Hurt By Burn
A9 - Opponent Is Asleep
AB - Opponent Is Asleep And Hurt By Poison
C0 - Opponent Is Paralyzed
