Flashback: The Quest for Identity is a science-fiction platformer video game developed by Delphine Software International and published by U.S. Gold. It was originally released in 1992 for the Amiga and Atari ST computers, and later ported to various consoles, including the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1993. The game follows the story of Conrad B. Hart, a scientist who finds himself stranded on an alien planet with no memory of his past, and must uncover the truth behind his identity while avoiding dangerous obstacles and enemies. Flashback is notable for its cinematic graphics and animation, which were achieved through the use of rotoscoping techniques, as well as its focus on storytelling and exploration.
