F1 Pole Position is a racing game developed by Human Entertainment and published by Ubisoft for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. The game is based on the 1991 Formula One World Championship, featuring all the teams and drivers from that season. It offers different gameplay modes such as the Single Race, the Grand Prix, and the World Championship, with the latter allowing the player to compete in a full season of 16 races. In the game, players can choose from different difficulty levels, adjust their car's settings and compete in a variety of weather conditions. F1 Pole Position also features a split-screen multiplayer mode, where two players can race against each other on the same screen. The game was well received for its realistic physics and gameplay mechanics, and it is considered one of the best F1 games of its time.
